Together, Jacob’s Pillow and the Berkshire Museum bring dynamic dance experiences to Pittsfield, including artist residencies, special performances, and community events. This collaboration aims to introduce new audiences to dance and celebrate diverse cultural expressions within the region.

Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, Great Barrington, MA
Jacob’s Pillow and the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center partner to enrich the dance experience by providing expert insights through pre-show talks for the Mahaiwe’s HD Dance Broadcasts. This ongoing collaboration helps contextualize dance films for audiences and deepens appreciation of the art form.

MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA
Jacob’s Pillow and MASS MoCA share a longstanding partnership, built on a mutual commitment to artistic innovation and supported by the Irene Hunter Fund for Dance. Since before the museum’s opening, the Pillow has played a significant role in shaping MASS MoCA’s identity as a performing arts venue. This relationship promotes cross-disciplinary projects, broadens dance exposure in the Berkshires, and supports both visual and performing artists in exploring new creative possibilities.
