International lead danseur, Tamás Solymosi was born in Hungary and trained at the Hungarian Dance Academy, the Vaganova Academy in St Petersburg, and Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo. In 2003, he graduated with a degree in Education, and from 2005-2006 was deputy director of the Hungarian Ballet School. In 2007, he was Artistic Director of the Summer Festival of Szolnok, Hungary. Solymosi is not only a ballet master and director; he is frequently requested as Étoile, international guest artist, performing star roles in most classical ballet repertoires, including Swan Lake, Giselle, The Nutcracker, Cinderella, La Bayadère, and Romeo and Juliet. He has performed at the Metropolitan Opera House, American Ballet Theater, The Bolshoi Ballet, Miami Ballet, Teatro di San Carlo, Norwegian National Ballet, Bavarian State Opera, National Ballet of Santiago de Chile, Berlin State Opera, Finnish National Ballet, Semperoper, Hungarian National Ballet, Chicago Ballet, National Opera, Warsaw, Osaka Ballet, and Vienna State Opera Ballet.
