Celeste Miller is a multi-faceted dance artist whose career includes solo performance, choreography, education and arts activism. She is also the director of programs and initiatives that support the flourishing of individuals and communities through movement-based reflective practices.
“J.R.” Glover
Co-founder, Curriculum in Motion®
“J.R.” Glover, The Carole & Dan Burack Director of The School, has worked at the Pillow since 1993, though her first Pillow experience was as an intern in 1988. She steers the development of The School’s professional advancement programs by working closely with the Jacob’s Pillow Director and each of the Program Directors.
Kimberli Boyd
Curriculum in Motion™ Institute | Co-Director
Kimberli Boyd is a dancer, choreographer, performing artist, teaching artist, educational consultant, registered yoga teacher, and certified yoga therapist. Kimberli believes “Art is Powerful – Dance is Empowering” and has toured extensively, conducting workshops and residencies for many major presenters, nationally and internationally.
Margot Greenlee
Margot Greenlee, Artist Educator, believes participatory dance-making, personal agency, and creativity are the foundation of her choreographic vision. Featured in Dance Magazine’s “Beyond Performance,” her approach is based on 20 years of experience in community arts engagement, first as a solo artist and later as a company member with Liz Lerman Dance Exchange (1999-2007).

Deborah Karp is a choreographer, dance educator, and performer. Her work has been presented on both coasts of the United States and has been supported by the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities, the Clorox Company Foundation, and Dancers’ Group CA$H award.

Dawn Lane, Artist Educator, has been choreographing dance and movement events professionally since 1980. Lane is one of three nationally chosen dance educators teaching Curriculum in Motion™ residencies for Jacob’s Pillow, a model that draws upon K-12 curriculum as a source for kinetic learning and student driven choreography.

Nicole Livieratos
Atlanta-based artist Nicole Livieratos travels between the dance and visual art worlds with a steadfast trust in movement. Originally a dancer/choreographer, Livieratos blended years of dance experience with her visual sensibility, resulting in a marriage of forms and skill sets. Currently on staff at the High Museum of Art, she leads interactive gallery tours for a range of ages from toddlers to seniors.

Working in the mediums of dialogue, participation, and collaboration, Krissie Marty makes dances with people who aren’t traditionally considered dancers. As Community Collaborations Director and Associate Artistic Director of Forklift Danceworks, she most often engages working people in artmaking to ask audiences to reconsider their relationship to labor and laboring bodies.

Michael Richter
Curriculum in Motion™ Institute | Co-Director
Michael Richter, educator, mentor, artist, performer and researcher, helps individuals and groups learn via dance improvisation. He co-developed, co-directs and co-teaches in dance and somatic certification courses, including Curriculum in Motion™ Institute at Jacob’s Pillow, Language of Dance® motif notation, and Selver Awareness Leaders Training Institute.
Liv Schaffer
Liv Schaffer received her Bachelor’s degree from Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California in 2013, and has spent subsequent seasons performing with AXIS Dance Company, DanceWorks Chicago, The Dance Exchange, and Robert Moses’ Kin.
