The following National Historic Landmark spaces and buildings are available for rent, depending on the time of the year and existing reservations. Marley flooring may not be available in all studios between September and mid-May. Read about event restrictions.
Bakalar Studio
50-80 people (standing room capacity 200)
The historic Bakalar Studio, a refurbished New England barn, includes the utilization of the outdoor Tea Garden area. Both natural and unique spaces that allow guests to mingle inside and outside.
Dimensions: 50' 6" x 29'
Availability: The first two weekends in May, all of September, and October through Columbus Day Weekend, weather permitting.
Blake’s Barn & Sommerspace
40-75 people
In addition to a central area for exhibits and lectures, the barn offers an indoor lobby and outdoor deck with retractable overhang. Perfect for a variety of meetings throughout the year

Availability: The first two weekends in May, all of September, and October through Columbus Day Weekend.
Perles Family Studio
80-200 people (standing room capacity 400)
The new dance studio, with its high ceilings, signifies a deep commitment to The School at Jacob’s Pillow and year-round creative development, engagement, and educational programs. The space includes 200 seats with additional space.
Dimensions: 48’ x 65’
Availability: September to mid May. Snow dates are required in the winter months.
The Ben & Estelle Sommers Studio
80-150 people
Originally the home of The School at Jacob’s Pillow, The Ben & Estelle Sommers Studio can accommodate a variety of events including workshops or performances. Vaulted studio ceilings and heating offer a year-round, intimate and traditional atmosphere.
Dimensions: 59’ 6” x 29’ 5”
Availability: The first two weekends in May, all of September, and October through Columbus Day Weekend, weather permitting.
