Marielys Molina, born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, maintains Broadway credits including On Your Feet, Motown, Twyla Tharp’s Come Fly Away, and Sweet Charity, along with Off-Broadway credits such as Buena Vista Social Club performed at the Atlantic Theater. Marielys’ film and television credits include Music and Lyrics, Idlewild, In the Heights, Blue’s Big City Adventures, Saturday Night Live, the Video Music Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the Latin Grammy Awards, and the Tony Awards. She has performed with artists such as Ludacris, Beyoncé, Ashanti, Sean Paul, Madonna, Gloria Estefan, and in Jon Batiste’s I Need You music video as a featured dancer. Marielys is a World Salsa Champion (2003), who has had the opportunity to collaborate with artists from the Latin/Salsa world such as Jhesus Aponte, Sekou McMiller, and Tito Ortos, among others.
