BOX OFFICE POLICIES

No Refunds. For a $5-10 per ticket fee, tickets may be exchanged up to 48 hours prior to the performance. The fee is waived for Full and Flex Plus Subscribers, up to 48 hours in advance. Patron must return physical tickets or evidence of destroyed tickets by mail, fax, or in person.

DISCOUNTS
Discounts are not available online, patrons must call the Box Office at 413.243.0745 to purchase discounted tickets. Discounts and coupons are based on availability and must be requested or presented at the time of sale. Discounts are not valid for standby list tickets.Discounts cannot be issued retroactively, and cannot be combined with any other offer. Some restrictions may apply. The list of discounts below is not comprehensive and is subject to change without notice.

Subscribers: Subscribers who purchase 5 or more shows receive 10% off tickets. Choose from Full Subscription of 10 Ted Shawn Theatre or Doris Duke Theatre companies. The Flex Plus Subscription allows you to choose 5 or more companies, any day, any theatre, any time and receive the discount.

Under 35 Fridays: A limited number of special Under 35 tickets are available for every Friday night performance for patrons ages 18-35. Tickets are $19 for the Ted Shawn Theatre, $19 for the Doris Duke Theatre, available by calling the Box Office. Limit 2 per patron, must show valid I.D. when picking up tickets at Will Call. Under 35 Fridays are sponsored, in part, by Blue Q.

Senior: For seniors 65 and over. Please contact the Box Office for more information.

Groups: Groups who order a block of 20 or more tickets to a single performance receive personal planning services, a free private tour, and at least 10% off tickets. Click here or contact Chelsea Wells at 413.243.9919 x132 for more group experience information.

Youth Tickets: Youth Tickets: The Pillow supports introducing younger audiences to dance. $10 Youth Tickets, sponsored by ALEX®, are offered for designated performances that may be more accessible to the whole family. 1 youth ticket per 1 adult ticket purchased, children must be accompanied by an adult.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates can be purchased in-person or over the phone. Gift Certificates must be presented in-person or mailed in to be redeemed; they cannot be redeemed over the phone or via fax.

CHILDREN
Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to gain admittance to the theatre, including infants. Children must be accompanied by an adult; please help them to be considerate of other patrons. The Pillow welcomes young audiences as part of its mission "to engage and deepen public appreciation and support for dance." As an art form that explores and celebrates the human experience in all its facets, dance offers a wide spectrum of sights and sounds in live performance. Although a child discount is offered for all performances, parents may not find each and every program to be equally appropriate for their children. If you have any questions about the content of any particular program, please contact the Box Office.

SERVICE ANIMALS
Only official service dogs are permitted in the theatres. All dogs must be leashed on the Pillow grounds at all times.

EXCHANGES
  • Tickets may be exchanged up to 48 hours prior to performance for a $5-10 per ticket fee. The fee is waived for Full and Flex Plus Subscribers, up to 48 hours in advance. Patrons must return physical tickets or evidence of destroyed tickets, by mail, fax or in person. Exchanging tickets held in Will Call incurs the same fee. Exchanges are subject to availability.
  • By Fax: Send a copy of all of the ripped tickets to 413.243.0749, including your name, phone number, performance, date and time, as well as the requested exchange performance, date and time.
  • By U.S. Mail: Mail the original tickets to Box Office Manager, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, 358 George Carter Road, Becket, MA 01223 including your name, phone number, performance, date and time as well as the requested exchange performance, date and time.
  • A confirmation call or e-mail of received tickets will be issued to you within 24 hours.
  • If overnight mailing is requested, there is an additional charge.

FEES
  • There is a $7 service charge per order via mail, fax, phone and internet. 
  • There is no service charge for walk-up purchases at the Box Office.
  • $1.50 from each ticket sold goes to support the Pillow's National Historic Landmark grounds and buildings.
  • There will be additional charges for express mail and overnight requests.

SEATING
  • Seating priority is given first to Subscribers and Members.
  • Seating preferences are accommodated when subject to availability, and are not guaranteed.
  • Early ordering and other benefits are available to Members.
  • The Doris Duke Theatre is occasionally cooled with air-conditioning; the Ted Shawn Theatre is occasionally cooled with fans only. 
  • No audio or video equipment is permitted in the theatres during performances.
  • Late seating is at the discretion of the House Manager. Performances start promptly at their assigned times. Check tickets carefully for curtain times.
  • Seat assignments cannot be guaranteed past curtain.
  • There is no standing room in the theatres.
  • Every person, including infants, must have a ticket to enter the theatre.
  • Some seating may be partially obstructed due to staging, lighting, special effects, musical accompaniment or other adjustments to the theatre and/or the work being presented. In most cases, the Box Office will be made aware and this information will be presented to the patron prior to sale.

STANDBY LIST
In the event of a sold out performance, a standby list will open 1 hour before show time.
  • Patrons must sign up in person at the Box Office. Please include your full name and the number of tickets desired.
  • There is a 4 ticket limit per patron.
  • The Box Office will begin filling standby list ticket requests 30 minutes prior to show time if tickets are available.
  • All standby list tickets are full price. Discounts and coupons are not valid.
  • If you are not present when your name is called, you will be moved to the bottom of the list.
  • When tickets become available, you will have the option to pass or accept the tickets. If you choose to pass based on seat location, you will be moved to the bottom of the list.
  • If you pass based on the number of tickets available, you will retain your place in line until tickets are available for your entire party.

TICKET DONATIONS

Ticket donations are appreciated and support the non-profit programs of Jacob's Pillow. Tax-deductible receipts are issued. Ticket re-sale on Jacob's Pillow grounds is prohibited.

ACCESSIBILITY/SPECIAL NEEDS

  • Both theaters are wheelchair accessible: please call in advance if you require special seating.
  • Transportation between the parking lots and theaters is available before and after performances.
  • Transcripts are available of selected talks.
