Pillow Store

"I performed at the Pillow, spoke there, directed workshops there, but what I've seen on its stages over fifty summers has taught me things about dancing that I never could have learned from books."
- Deborah Jowitt for Berkshire Living

This space is one of the property's original 18th century barns and it is
reported to have served as a stop on the Underground Railroad in the Berkshires before the Civil War. The Pillow was named as a site on the African American Heritage Trail in 2007 and is recognized with a bronze plaque at the Welcome Center.

Many dance items are available in the current store including logo items, clothing, books, videos, gifts for the home, one-of-a-kind jewelry and more. Ask about Fair Trade items and custom made jewelry. All proceeds from purchases directly support the Pillow.
