Jacob's Pillow internships provide real work projects and responsibilities that build practical experience and develop professional skills. Interns are integral members of department teams and are charged to uphold the organization's work standards, ethics, and policies.

Fall/Winter/Spring (non-Festival) internships are tailored to an intern's specific needs, interests, hours, and duration. By joining Jacob's Pillow during the off-season, you will assist in the work required to support presentation, creation, education, preservation, and audience engagement at a world-renowned arts organization.

Summer (Festival) internships are part of a structured program for more than 30 interns from around the world, each working within one of seven administration and production departments at the Pillow. By interning with Jacob's Pillow during the summer, you join a team of seasoned arts professionals and assist with projects pertaining to the Festival, The School, the Archives, and Community Programs. All internships offer invaluable training and mentorship towards your professional career in arts administration or production.

Recent internship alumni have gone on to find employment at such prestigious organizations as Lincoln Center, the Brookings Institution, Standard & Poor's, the Kennedy Center, Mark Morris Dance Group, Dance Magazine, National Public Radio, The Washington Post, and Jacob's Pillow.
